Welcome to Paisley Studio, my cozy little corner of the front range in the Colorado Rockies. I have been looking forward to retiring for a few years now.  When the opportunity for early retirement arose in March 2025, I jumped on it. But leaving a steady paycheck came with the need to get a part-time job. Scanning the jobs available was just depressing and led me to think about starting an online reselling business.

My family and friends have all been incredibly supportive. My family members have been successful part-time resellers for several years now in addition to their day jobs. They let me steal a bunch of their inventory (thanks, guys!) to help me get started.

I’ll document my progress and lessons learned here, and we’ll see if I can continue on this way or if I’m going to need to find a real job.
